How do you start writing I have a lot of opinions and things to say when I talk but I do not write that much I want to start writing as I think I have a lot to express but I am not really sure how to get started

How do you start writing? I have a lot of opinions and things to say when I talk, but I do not write that much. I want to start writing, as I think I have a lot to express, but I am not really sure how to get started.

I've met many people who say, 'I wish I could write', or 'I've always wanted to write but I just can't'.

I believe that if you can think, you can write.
If you can talk, you can write.
Because writing is nothing but talking.
.
.
on paper.

But what I do understand is that
You have to just start writing.
So that's what I'm going to talk about – how to write, i.
e, how to think on paper.

Unclog the brain pipes
To start writing you need to do just that: start writing.
Get something to write on, clear a space to write in, put your pen to paper, and just GO! Start writing and don't stop.
Don't stop to question.
Don't stop to think.
Don't stop to notice what rubbish might be coming out of your hand.

"I always start writing with a clean piece of paper and a dirty mind.
" – writer Patrick Dennis.

This is
It's part of the human condition to want to share things – thoughts, ideas, opinions.
" – writer Paulo Coelho
Get up-close and personal
So get personal with your reader and share what you know and think.
The reason I say imagine you are writing to someone you trust or are close to is because then you don't worry about opening yourself up.
If I tell you a story as I would my best friend, you would feel connected to me.
Honesty and vulnerability can be seen in your writing.
Your reader will then trust you to be honest about the information you give too.

"Every secret of a writer's soul, every experience of his life, every quality of his mind, is written large in his works.
" – writer Virginia Woolf
Read everything you can get your hands on
When you start writing, topic
There's no way around these two things that I'm aware of, no shortcut.
" – writer Stephen King.

Don't worry about a thing
Don't worry about grammar and sentence construction and spellings.
Don't worry about facts and figures.
And please do not worry about vocabulary.

They just get in the way.
You can go back and check all of these later.
You can change words and reorganize.
But at first flush, just write to keep up with your thoughts.

If a word comes to your mind in another language just write that.
Don't stop to correct anything.

Don't worry about writing style.
Remember, writing has changed a lot since you were writing in school.
In the world of tweets and blogs and websites – simplicity and clarity count most.

"Style is to forget all styles.
" – writer Jules Renar
Writing is, in this context, only
" – writer Mark Ford.

However, if there are errors they distract from your message.
So always edit carefully.
Nowadays, the computer does most of the spelling and grammar checking for you.
But always read over your words carefully anyways.
There are some errors only human eyes can see!
Then, if possible get
Write the truest sentence that you know.
"
So I asked him to just write.
Write one true sentence, and prove yourself wrong, Dad.
I'm sure I will receive a letter from him soon saying, 'Dear Anisa, Let me tell you why I disagree with you.
.
.
'
!
And that's what I ask you to do as well.
Just write your truest thoughts.

If your thoughts and ideas are good, then writing will automatically be good.
It doesn't have to be great literature at first shot, you will get better with practice.
For now, just focus on getting your own thoughts down in words.

Believe, as all writers do, that "the worst thing you write is better than the best thing you did not write"
So I hope to get a letter from you too: 'Dear Anisa, let me tell you why I disagree with you.
.
.
'
! And that letter will make me happy.

Writing Ugly
Getting an ugly first draft written down creates a starting place for improvement.
It doesn’t have to be pretty, make sense, or go into detail yet—it just needs to be on the page.
I’ve seen lots of great posts before that talk about the idea of “writing ugly” at a high level, but not many that really spell out how to go about doing it.
That’s why I wanted to share the strategy I use when writing thousands of words for different clients and publications.
First things first: Create a framework.
1.
Framework

Before you try to get too in-depth, create an ugly framework.
It should look something like this:
This step will help you get rid of the empty page and allows you to visualize what elements you need to build upon.
It’s your roadmap.
(I did a video demo of how I do this step by step using Airstory.
.
.
it's right
"
Your introduction welcomes the reader with a conversational tone, while the conclusion goes over what you explained and reminds him or her of the one main takeaway.
5.
Editing

When your ugly first draft is complete, you can then go back in to polish things up and perfect your work — but not before then.
Self-editing while you write is the enemy of completion.
If you need an extra set of eyes to look it over and give suggestions, ask for help.
They might catch things you missed or have a different perspective that spots the holes or confusing elements within your piece.
And finally, give yourself enough time to go back after a day or two to check and re-edit with fresh eyes.
As the idea rolls around in your mind over the course of a few days, you might have new thoughts on additions for your piece or arguments that could be made against a point you’re making.
The Bottom Line: By embracing the ugly first draft, you can write more efficiently — and over time, you’ll notice that the process becomes simpler until you never worry about the blank page again.

If you wanted to play the piano, what would you do? You'd find a piano teacher and take classes.
What makes writing any different? Writing is an art, but it’s a learned art.
To ask someone how to write a story is like asking “How do I climb a mountain?” You don’t, unless you’ve had the training.

Most people will tell you to just start writing, and keep writing, but I don't agree.

I'm going to give you some good advice on how to learn the craft, and give you a place to send in some of your work when you're ready.
In order to write stories that people want to read you will need to understand how to put one together.
There is a definite pattern and rhythm to it.
And there are certain expectations from the editors and publishing houses as to how your story is laid out.
You will need a good imagination, one that can look at a situation and picture all sorts of different scenarios.
You need to be able to ask 'what if' and come up with twists and lines that are new and fresh.
You will need to be able to research things.
For example I wrote a story set in Iran where there was a wedding.
I had to research how the wedding would take place, the food, the customs, common Iranian names, clothing, etc.
in order to write an interesting yet correct story.
Take classes in writing; grammar and punctuation (very important.

If you're going to write sci-fi you will need to take classes in world building.
Each genre of book has its own set of expectations from the reader that you will need to fulfill.
For example a murder mystery must have clues for the reader to try and solve.
A romance needs a happily ever after ending, known to writers as an HEA.
A thriller needs fast pacing and danger.
There are classes in short story writing.
Where to find these classes? Local community colleges often offer writing classes.
My local library has classes seasonally.
Best of all there are hundreds of classes you can take on-line.
They run about $25-$35 each and range from 2 to 4 weeks.
Google on-line writing classes and you will get lots of sites.

Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.

Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

Flowing through, pounding mental illness, worried about the failure inside of me.
Writing is my escape for the bad arguments that I make through my EXPLODING madness of perfection, that I am not sure that anybody would understand.
What is the world, without my writing, without just sitting down, reflecting my thoughts, not trying to do something every single god damn second?
How things ruffle through the clouds.
Finding things within the whisper of life, letting the mental illness of anxiety consume me.
But now as I sit down, letting the stillness of life consume me, not letting the constant news and notifications fly through my head.
As I am drowning in my own thoughts
Help would be awesome as if I could ramble on and on about the mess that's in my head
What writing is to me is letting the thoughts speak out loud
For the puzzle pieces in my head.
Description: Writing for me is therapy for my mental illness.
