How can I make myself feel beautiful?
By thinking of yourself as an eternal part and parcel of God.
Krishna is called Bhagavan.
Bhagavan refers to someone who possesses all beauty, all knowledge, all strength, all fame, all wealth and all renunciation.
Being a part of the all beautiful Krishna, means you are also beautiful, and that beauty is of the real you, the soul, not your body.
Like, if you don't have such an attractive body, it's a relief to know you are not your body, but the eternal soul within.
Anyone, regardless of his beliefs and convictions, can experience that he is a constant or eternal observer of existence.
As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death.
A sober person is not bewildered by such a change.
What Krishna is saying here, is that one's body changes all the time from childhood, to youth, to old age.
But the self or the I within, remains constant.
One's mind and intelligence change, sure.
You are are supposed to grow wiser with age.
One's thoughts, feelings, willpower, and convictions change as time progresses.
But it is the same I-feeling, who experience all these changes.
It is the same observer.
The person stays the same despite the altercations in matter.
That is the eternal soul.
It is the same person, or the same soul who sits in a child's body as the one who sits in the old man's body.
The person didn't change, in the sense that he is the same observer.
His thoughts and feelings and intelligence changed, but he remained the same soul.
In this way anyone can experience his own eternality.
It's a question of absorption – either one is absorbed in matter, which is in constant change.
One is absorbed in his thoughts, feelings, and will.
Or one is absorbed in one's eternal self.
That means, one is absorbed in observing one's thoughts, feelings, and will.
The absorption is in one's own consciousness.
That is a choice one has.
And one's choice will be determined by the way one is controlled by matter.
When one's choice is motivated by the desire to become FREE from matter, then one begins his spiritual journey back home, back to Godhead.
A person who is not disturbed by the incessant flow of desires – that enter like rivers into the ocean, which is ever being filled but is always still – can alone achieve peace, and not the man who strives to satisfy such desires.
A person who has given up all desires for sense gratification, who lives free from desires, who has given up all sense of proprietorship and is devoid of false ego – he alone can attain real peace.
That is the way of the spiritual and godly life, after attaining which a man is not bewildered.
If one is thus situated even at the hour of death, one can enter into the kingdom of God.
Beauty isn't something you're born with
Different people have a different perception of what the word "beautiful" means.
Siri defines it as "pleasing the senses or mind aesthetically".
Here you go, the thing about beauty Is that it's just a perception.
You'd always be the most beautiful child in your mothers eyes whereas your school bullies may make you feel different.
So how do you overcome this dilemma, of feeling precious one time and worthless the other.
It's the most obvious yet the hardest to understand.
To make the person you'll be with forever, to indeed believe.
That you are beautiful.
Now the big question is.
How do you do that?
We each day go out dressed up, try to sound posh, intelligent, intellectual.
Some of us might be all of those things but most of us aren't lucky enough.
So we pretend, pretend to be all of the things that might impress others, all of the things that might make others like us, all in the hope of getting a compliment, All in the hope of being called beautiful.
Even though we deep inside know it's not who we are but that compliment makes us feel good about ourselves, it makes us feel "beautiful".
So see right there, the only one you're wanting to impress is yourself in the end, not others.
Most of us have a constant desire of others approval and consent whereas if we look deeply into it, it's us, our own selves we're looking to impress by lingering on others opinion.
That's all you've gotta overcome.
To make your opinion count, more than others.
And take my word for it, you might be physically the ugliest being on the planet, but once you believe that you indeed are "beautiful" no matter what, nobody in the entire world could make you feel otherwise.
Do you mean 'how can I make myself feel physically beautiful?' or 'how can I make myself feel beautiful inside?'
I can only tell you what works for me, but you are welcome to try any of them.
This list is my gift to you:
Quick fixes to feel physically beautiful: skin brushing, exfoliation and applying lots of moisturiser; having a steambath and massaging warm essential oil into my face and body; swimming in freezing water, followed by hot chocolate by the fire; yoga; sunbathing; dancing; having the longest bath in the history of the world, meditation; the compliments of a close friend; physical affection.
Quick fixes to feel beautiful on the inside: deep breathing, meditation, deep conversation with someone reflective, reading poetry, star gazing, sun-gazing (well-known for lifting the spirits), walking in the wind after a rainstorm, random acts of kindness; anonymous giving; sharing a joke; cooking for my friends; watching a sunset; day dreaming; healing someone; the cleansing effect of tears; loving someone; being loved, having a dream to realise.
I think it's important to have lots of ways around you, always.
In my opinion, it´s important to feel beautiful both inside and outside.
For the outside part, I truly believe you have to accept your flaws because they are what makes us unique.
We always compare ourselves to other people and we forget how beautiful we actually are.
Just dress how you like, put on makeup if you like it, if you don´t just go bare faced and rock
Relatively to being a beautiful/good person inside, it´s all about loving you and others around you.
It´s important to help someone who is going through a rough time in their lives, sometimes they only need someone to talk to or a word of hope.
Help your family, they are the most important people in your life, never forget this!
Do things for yourself, set goals, do things you enjoy, have new experiences
You cant really
But I am sure 10000000000% in some way or another you are beautiful personally I don’t know you I don’t think I ever will but each person is beautiful in their own ways so for you to make your self feel beautiful you need to realize you are as great as you are
